Highly dishonest and unethical people

When trying to get me to sign, my recruiter would call, leave a voicemail, text, email, and Linkedin message me all at the same time. Incessantly annoying when I was working.

When I was unsure about taking an offer, he said I would get a 3k sign on bonus if I signed by the end of June. I said I couldn't, but I could sign by July, and he said I could get 1.5k then. I accepted. When I got the contract, I didn't see anything about the bonus so I asked and he said I would get it after signing from Cybercoders themselves, not the company I was would for.

When I signed, I asked again, and he said I would not get it for 90 days after working. He promised me repeatedly that he was a man of his word, and would never lie to me.

When 90 days passed, I contacted him, and he was really unresponsive, saying they were "working on it". Eventually he said because I didn't sign by June, I was not eligible of receiving the bonus. I reminded him that he agreed to pay 1.5k if I signed by July, and he said "I never had said such a thing to anyone before, nor would I have said that to you." I sent him screen shots of our texts, and he said he'd get back to me.

Then he really started avoiding me... coming from someone that would contact me 10 different ways/times a day when trying to get me to sign. Kept saying he'd call me by a certain day or time and never did. Finally I texted saying since he's so busy, lets schedule a google meeting, and he said he'd schedule it for me, and he never did.

Avoided me for weeks like this, and then he said "The accounting department refuses to pay you because you did not sign by June. There's nothing I can do." And from then he entirely ghosted me. Finally I started the process for a small claims court case, and within hours he replied saying he got approval from the VP and they paid.

Totally disgusting in their integrity and dishonesty. All for 1.5k.

This company is a scam. Don't ever talk with them.

User's recommendation: Work with a more honest recruiting company. They just take job postings from companies websites and repost them anyway, so just try to find them yourself.

I worked with one of their recruiters. I was rushed through an interview process, it was an all around horrible experience.

I did not get the position, so relieved that it did not work out. When I asked for an update the recruiter said he would check-- I knew the answer but wanted to see what he would say. He said they offered it to a better fit. Too bad the jerk had reposted the same job that morning with his name included.

When I pointed this out he lied again and said "he wasn't doing anything with that position".

These recruiters do not know how to NOT lie!!! Save yourself just don't apply!

Candidate Experience - Never, Ever Again.

I found working with Cybercoders that the representative was either unethical, incompetent or both! He miss represented the salary range. It was posted on indeed as between $95 and 120K per year. Then when he put me in at 90K he had all sorts of reasons why the posting showed higher. He ran around the topic when I challenged him later to try and get the true range for the job. I turned down the job and he came back a month later and asked it I would reconsider. I assumed this was at the clients request. Not so, when I spoke with the Cybercoder rep he said that he just thought I should contact the hiring manager directly because they had not found anyone close to me. I was shocked. I have never had a rep tell me he was doing things without talking to his client and let alone contact his client directly. I will never consider a job through them

Samuel Leos (recruiter) for CyberCoders contacted me by phishing my resume on indeed, he set me up with an interview at a company that was a perfect fit for my experience and skill set. That is where it ended, 12 e-mails, 12 text and 9 voicemails later nothing from Samuel. I contacted the company I interviewed with directly and was told that they don't use recruiters. I was never given contact information to the interviewer or anyone else as a matter of fact. I was very excited about this opportunity of employ and now it's never going to happen. CyberCoders will crush every possible opportunity that you may have with potential companies for employ. Lesson learned the hard way. If you are contacted by anyone at Cyber Coders RUN!!!!!! as fast as you can.

Terrible Service Offered by this Company

I hired someone. They didn't show up. They were nice to work with until a problem came up and then were quick to turn the situation around. Overall it was a terrible investment and complete waste of time. I also was not treated very kindly when I asked about reviewing the charges. They said that they will only provide a replacement for a full-time employee after assuring me this would be the case with a contracted employee prior. This was disappoint also because the resume presented to me was very professional. Unfortunately it's not the best representation of what you will get because it is written by the recruiter. Do not sign up for this service.

Imagine you've been contacted by cybercoders for a job you are perfect for. You send the needed information. Now they won't return emails, answer their phone nor return left messages. It's a complete limbo with all the non-communication. If there was a problem, we should have discussed this also. I have spoke with many head-hunters in the past who were very forthcoming, honest and truthful, so here we are, I have never seen anthing like this. Decisions made without speaking to someone, is a sign of unprofessionalism. TOTAL DISREGARD FOR WHAT A JOB PLACEMENT COMPANY SHOULD BE. Is this a complete company trend, or is it just a few select recruiters at cybercoders. Best I can tell at this moment, cybercoders is a complete waste of time and effort and your efforts are better spent elsewhere.

I spent numerous days and time attempting to call josh raymond with cybercoders. Not only was he not available and extremely unprofessional he also schedule me an interview with a CEO and never told me about it. Unfortunately, I was not able to take the call with the CEO and when I was able to call him back he was not happy-completely understandable. There’s a reason I don’t like recruiters. I have been on humilitating interview after interview where I apparently fit the position and was not given the job description to now. I’m a young professional, I cannot have a bridge burned for a poor recruiter. Sadly, when I voiced this issue with Josh, he huffed and puffed on the phone and proceeded to cut me off and rush me off. Obviously he couldn’t care less what he did to me and my reputation with this company. Obviously there’s no further potential with this company either due to this. Disgusted.

So I get a random email from these guys out of no where advertising jobs that .... A) are in a city i lived in 5 years ago. B) are not even remotely in my field of expertise. C) arent actual job openings. This did not upset me. What upset me was when I unsubscribed, I received 4 more emails the next day.

So I reached out to Cyber Coders as a I did a few other groups for potential job placement. I get an email from John Suttie. My background is aerospace, management, I have plenty of experience and have been doing this for a long time. I start getting emails from John about law care management and other off the wall job offers. To his credit he did state that its automated emails sent out, however, whatever program they use for "decoding" a resume is obviously flawed. Suffice it to say, I will not work with nor recommend Cybercoders to any of my colleagues nor will I work with John Suttie again. They have some internal problems for sure.

There was a job posting on Saturday (12/10/2016) and I applied to that job on the Cybercoders page, filled out all the required information, and also, I followed further instructions posted by the recruiter, I emailed him a copy of my resume with the job ID. Position name: Computer Vision Drone Engineer from CyberCoders Burlingame, CA 94010 I get an email at 9:30 AM, the following Monday (12/12/2016). The email says that the client has decided to move forward with other candidates. I asked the recruiter if the client even had a chance to review my resume, he would not respond to my email. Point to be noted: My qualifications are a direct match to this job and I'm an SME in that field. Recruiter name: Rick Cristiano And the job posting is still up on their website!

Job Opportunity Lost by Incompetent Recruiter

My CyberCoders recruiter set up an telephone interview with a local company. He told me it would be a general, not technical, interview. When the company reps called they only asked technical questions and expected me to do an online coding test. I did well with their questions, but I couldn't do the coding test because I didn't have a computer with me. The recruiter (allegedly) set up a second phone interview to do the coding test. This time, no one called me and the recruiter later said there was a "miscommunication" with HR. He insisted that I agree to yet another phone interview, but I told him I was tired of his botched interviews and that only a face-to-face meeting would be acceptable. I never heard from him again. I can only imagine what he told the client. Thanks for nothing!

If the client is only interested in an initial phone screen, as is most likely the case, then the recruiter is powerless to force them to agree to anything else. The client calls the shots and if they had wanted a 1:1 with you, you would have gotten that. Blaming the recruiter is pointless.

Recriters seem to be only white. They email me about job opportunities and then when I am firm on my Job Requirments they start throwing stones. Seems they have some kind of twisted culture over there. I had only 1 good experience so far with a recruiter from CyberCoders. Most seem very snarky, rude and belittling. Try to avoid if possible!

After a standard conversation with Lauren and endless emails and condescending tips about what to say , I got a pre screening phone interview w an HR of a cleaner Few minutes into the interview , it became apparent the position I am applying for is way over my experience level . Lauren didn't even bother to make a simple connection I was promised at least a feedback and after reaching out to Lauren , got a snarky response via email about how busy she is. What a joke

I was contacted by a recruiter for a position I had applied for several days earlier. I interviewed with the company, and was ultimately given an offer. During this time the recruiter indicated that the company wanted a decision in two days time and that the company would like me to start as soon as possible. He also pushed me to make a verbal agreement to accept the offer without seeing it. Seeing as this is an unreasonable period of time to make a life decision, I contacted the company directly, to discover that they were happy to give me a week to decide, and an extra several weeks before I would start at the company. After considering the offer, I decided to respectfully decline it. At this time the recruiter was very rude, and indicated that I would "have difficulty finding another position", he was very upset that I had "really thrown a monkey wrench into things" and he "wished that I had let them know earlier, because the other candidate may not even be available anymore". The irony of this is that he was insisting I make a decision quickly to ensure that the other candidate would still be available, and had indicated in the past that I am "very employable". He had also made rude comments about my fiance by claiming that I was "clearly the high achiever in this relationship" and suggesting that I should not think about his job opportunities in the area when making a decision. I would suggest to recruiters that they refrain from lying to, alienating or otherwise offending their customers.

I received several calls from cybercoders but they were new employees who didn't know the ropes. Once they noticed my age (through work experience) they stopped all conversation. On one occasion I had the perfect match to a job (I do not believe it existing) when talking to the recruiter about my skills and experience I mentioned my 13 years with direct experience he then looked at my resume at said OH I didn't know you had that experience. I did research and found from former cybercoders employee's how they classified resumes. They had a coding systems to indicate age. It is easy to mask age discrimination. As an IT/Business professional when a job description has many technical skill sets and business acumen but only asks for 3-5 or 5-7 years experience, how could you obtain all the posted skill sets within 3-5 or 5-7 years, you can't. So I asked myself as a business person how does cybercoders make money. All of their staff is on straight commission. That is why you may not here from someone they leave after 2 months. Second no business would give an exclusive to cybercoders for a job. They would also post, it is an employer's market. Recruiters can offer temp work that is legitimate. And lastly their privacy notice says they can share your information with third party affiliates. What if they sold the information to credit card companies. They would know if you are no longer working by receiving information from your resume, they can cut your credit card lines and save millions of dollars per year in potential default accounts. Conclusion, cybercoders is not just in business to place people, they probably sell information. They do place people or the business model would not earn a profit. But remember a broken watch is correct twice a day. Do not waste anytime with their service. Regards,
